DESCRIPTION:

Monticel tablets and sachet contains Montelukast sodium which is a leukotriene receptor antagonist that blocks substances called leukotriene and helps to relieve the symptoms of asthma. The structural formula is as follow.

INDICATION OF USE:

MECHANISM OF ACTION:

Cytochrome P450 2C8 is the major enzyme in the metabolism of Montelukast.. By blocking leukotriene, Montelukast improves asthma symptoms and helps control asthma.
